If Robustiano Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Teodor in the 24th minute of play forced Maipú's goalkeeper Lucio Telo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Telo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Teodor in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Robustiano Teodor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 42 minutes into the match, Modesto Chinto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Maipú's Lucio Telo. Lucio Telo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Maipú's Timoteo Jax made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Paul was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Timoteo Jax made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Paul. Medina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Maipú's Lucio Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Teodor in the 61st minute of play. Rene Gumaro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Teodor in the 64th minute of play forced Maipú's goalkeeper Lucio Telo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Denis Burni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Teodosio Paul didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Gartxot during the 79th minute.
