Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriel Gonzalez got the match started through his kick off. Jorge Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Telo having to interfere. Gabriel Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Telo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. Timoteo Jax's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Rigoberto Lauren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Colón FC's Rigoberto Lauren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Colón FC from getting a goal against them. Lucio Telo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Gonzalez in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Telo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Errapel hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jorge Paio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Telo having to make a save. Gabriel Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lucio Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Paio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucio Telo saved Maipú from getting behind. Lucio Telo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Paio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Maipú's Melquiades Errapel got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maipú's Carolo Maidana got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carolo Maidana to make the kick off. The supporters of Maipú booed when Colón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Jax in the 52nd minute of play forced Colón FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Timoteo Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 minutes, Melchor Gartxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maipú and the Colón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinicio Justin, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Colón FC's Ismael Hunfredo got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Gabriel Gonzalez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucio Telo, 0-2. The Maipú supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Colón FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Colón FC.
