Federico Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ubaldo Rameriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Ricart in the 15th minute of play. Delmiro Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Generoso Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Ricart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damian Haimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ubaldo Rameriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Joey succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 38th playminute. Facundo AFC's Eloy Benat got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fausto Fe hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Haimar was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Facundo AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Delmiro Nabar hit a great ball. Federico Cerilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hugo Joey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Federico Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Isaias Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Cerilo came out of the goal and Isaias Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Rameriz having to interfere. Generoso Ricart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Rameriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ubaldo Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Haimar in the 78th minute of the match. Ubaldo Rameriz made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Generoso Ricart sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Benat in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Cerilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Facundo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Haimar came free, but Ubaldo Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubaldo Rameriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Haimar in the 90th minute of play. Damian Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Rameriz having to interfere. Facundo AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
