Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ernesto Ramirez made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Carmen's Geronimo Guib got a free kick in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Carmen's goalkeeper Generoso Orlondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Txilar. In the 7th minute Epifanio Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Epifanio Roland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Roland in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Orlondo saved Carmen from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Epifanio Roland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Orlondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Roland in the 18th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Unión's Arnulfo Txilar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Orlondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 minutes, Epifanio Roland made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carmen's Generoso Orlondo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Remigio Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Roland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Generoso Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Generoso Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Txilar in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Epifanio Roland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unión's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Roland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Orlondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carmen's Generoso Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Roland in the 57th minute of play. Cristo Florian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Fertus having to interfere. Ernesto Ramirez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Silverio Fertus 73 minutes into the match. Cristo Florians short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Silverio Fertus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Unión's Silverio Fertus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Unión from getting a goal against them. Epifanio Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Orlondo having to interfere. Ernesto Ramirez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Carmen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 95 minutes into the match, Unión's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Ramirez came free, but Silverio Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristo Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Carmen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unión.
