In the 8th minute Pablo Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gastre AFC's zone, Andres Jeraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Bernebe came out of the goal and Andres Jeraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Gastre AFC's Segundo Arano got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Pedernera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Urtats to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Cucao during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Gastre AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Cucao. Pedernera AFC's Andres Jeraldo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately Bonifacio Bernebe had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Gualterio Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Estevez having to interfere. Celso Pacorro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Llorian in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Estevez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Cucao was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Gastre AFC's Marciano Cucao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Estevez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Pedernera AFC's Domingos Estevez got control of the ball when Gualterio Llorian tried to sneak it across the goal line.
