The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Edorta got free with Jose Matxin in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidio Balesio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jose Matxin. Quebrachos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristian Machado's late challenge caught a Quebrachos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Machado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Orcosuni getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristian Machado hit a great ball. Emanuel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Mauro Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bertol having to interfere. Cristian Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jose Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Quebrachos FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Candido Iraunkor hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Sindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Bertol was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Emanuel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Basilio Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Bertol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jose Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mauro Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Ugutz to make the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Orcosuni's Geronimo Vedillo tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saul Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jose Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Ugutz in the 59th minute of play forced Orcosuni's goalkeeper Emanuel Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Basilio Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Orcosuni defense, Mauro Sindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Bertol. The Orcosuni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Bertol should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Quebrachos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Angel Soter hit a great ball. Silvestre Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Matxin having to interfere. Saul Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jose Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Basilio Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebrachos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Ugutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Bertol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orcosuni's Emanuel Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Sindo in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Quebrachos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Naelio came free, but Jose Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Edorta in the 86th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Angel Soter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quebrachos FC and the Orcosuni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angel Soter hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Saul Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basilio Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Bertol having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quebrachos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
