After 3 played minutes, Castelli AFC's Tiburcio Ignado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fausto Mingo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castelli AFC reached it. Castelli AFC's Melquiades Soter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Castelli AFC from getting a goal against them. Fausto Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Locaio in the 7th minute of the match. When Benjamin Ricart, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Melquiades Soter was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Narciso Quin fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castelli AFC's protests and gave Narciso Quin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Castelli AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Quin to maneuver through the defense. When Palmitas's Benjamin Ricart in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 57th minute Eriberto Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Soter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Melquiades Soter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Ruben Frechoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fausto Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelli AFC. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
