The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Rosas AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernan Dantae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Faustino Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Savion in the 31st minute of play. Teodelina's Faustino Jurdan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Teodelina from getting a goal against them. Flavio Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Remigio Fernanco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teodelina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosas AFC the free kick. The supporters of Rosas AFC booed when Teodelina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Bortzaioriz in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Bortzaioriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fernan Dantae fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaston Eutor, passed just outside the right post. Pedro Bortzaioriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Saverio Telmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodelina the free kick. Saverio Telmo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Teodelina's Fernan Dantae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Eutor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Dominix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Bortzaioriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Eutor having to interfere. Fernan Dantae hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gaston Eutor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Bortzaioriz's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Flavio Savion sped through Teodelina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Jurdan. Narciso Gentza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Jurdan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play.
