The supporters of Trinchera AFC booed when Porongal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Beturian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Marin went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Roman Marin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Beturian. Porongal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Marin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ivan Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Beturian having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Porongal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Marin came free, but Delmiro Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Beltxe struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dante Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porongal FC. In the 64th minute, Cecilio Beltxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trinchera AFC's Dante Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Beltxe in the 65th minute of play. If Miguel Presebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trinchera AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
