After 17 minutes of play, Mischango AFC's Aquiles Cordarrol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Americo Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Baldovino in the 31st minute of play forced Mischango AFC's goalkeeper Eusebio Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Cortez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Cordarrol in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Mischango AFC's Eusebio Abeijon got control of the ball when Claudio Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mischango AFC were furious when Victorio Ponciano was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Mischango AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curacó AFC:s goal. Eusebio Abeijon had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Mario Mendebal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eusebio Abeijon stood somewhat misplaced when Elias Telo came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 69 minute. If Aquiles Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Baldovino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eusebio Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebio Abeijon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elias Telo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. Aquiles Cordarrol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Americo Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
