Barracas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ajó the free kick. If Feliberto Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fernando Arnau sped through Barracas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrique Lucila. In the 10th minute, Rodolfo Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernando Arnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Enrique Lidon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ajó and the Barracas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute Ruperto Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Barracas FC booed when Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Ajó's goalkeeper Aldo Paublo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Herrera. Barracas FC's Enrique Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Mon in the 26th minute of play. Feliberto Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Arnau in the 30th minute of play forced Barracas FC's goalkeeper Enrique Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Olo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Piearres in the 40th minute of play forced Ajó's goalkeeper Aldo Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, Aldo Paublo, was totally fooled by Barracas FC's Honorato Sazon, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Enrique Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Arnau in the 76th minute of the match. Melquiades Bernaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Ruben Cebo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barracas FC's Enrique Lucila didn't even have to move. Enrique Lucila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Otsando in the 81st minute. Feliberto Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barracas FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ajó had controlled the match.
