Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes, Achalco's Alejo Evarado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafino Aznar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Achalco reached it. Maximo Joey might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Aznar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximo Joey ran back to his position shaking his head. Achalco's Zeledon Videl shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Serafino Aznar but with some difficulty. When Honorio Vigil got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Serafino Aznar was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Achalco's Artemio Breogan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eate in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Atencio FC's zone, Honorio Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Aznar came out of the goal and Honorio Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Eate in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Breogan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodolfo Porfiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Artemio Breogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Rodolfo Porfiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atencio FC's Serafino Aznar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Atencio FC from getting a goal against them. Honorio Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Joey to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Achalco's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Eate came free, but Artemio Breogan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Atencio FC's Carlos Eate dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Maximo Joey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Honorio Vigil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Aznar was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Artemio Breogan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eate in the 82nd minute of the match.
