With a little luck, Uzcudun FC's Anselmo Breogan got control of the ball when Domingo Casado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Breogan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Domeka's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Edgardo Orti took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Bastiaro. Edelmiro Bastiaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cleto Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anselmo Breogan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Pituil AFC's Domingo Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Breogan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cleto Domeka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Breogan having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Domeka was the one to do the kick off. Edelmiro Bastiaro made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Javier Ponce sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Uzcudun FC were awarded a corner. Dionisio Luzea went to the cornerflag to take it. Lucio Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Orti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Bastiaro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Casado in the 74th minute of play forced Uzcudun FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Breogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Domeka took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Breogan. Anselmo Breogan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Orti during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uzcudun FC's Edgardo Orti got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edgardo Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Uzcudun FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Uzcudun FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
