Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Enzo Gaztea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Adan Izotz made a huge save. If Cirilo Horado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Gavino Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Domenec blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Vermudo having to make a save. Guido Domenec might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Vermudo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Domenec ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Irene's zone, Guido Domenec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavino Vermudo came out of the goal and Guido Domenec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes, Cirilo Horado made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Irene's Gavino Vermudo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Guido Domenec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gavino Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Horado, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Aristides Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Enzo Gaztea came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Irene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Gaztea couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Horado in the 32nd minute of play forced Irene's goalkeeper Gavino Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cojango's Adan Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Baumer in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Virgilio Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irene's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Baumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Izotz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Melquiades Oihan came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Cojango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Oihan couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Baumer to make the kick off. Cojango's Adan Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Baumer in the 52nd minute of play. Cirilo Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Vermudo having to interfere. Gavino Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Domenec hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Enzo Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godfredo Diegotxe fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cojango's protests and gave Godfredo Diegotxe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Godfredo Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Eloy Gaitano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cojango's Adan Izotz did a great save. The supporters of Irene booed when Cojango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74th play minutes Virgilio Baumer shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Adan Izotz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Virgilio Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cojango's Adan Izotz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baltasar Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 97 minutes into the match, Virgilio Baumer notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cojango's Adan Izotz. Adan Izotz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
