Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cirilo Horado kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Horado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Osasun was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Anselmo Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cojango's goalkeeper Adan Izotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Epifanio Rosario struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Adan Izotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Churqui. After a rather tough play, Cojango's Melquiades Oihan got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Felix Arnau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adan Izotz skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Churqui booed when Cojango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Anselmo Roano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Osasun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Horado's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes Cojango got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Oihan. Felix Arnau was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 29 played minutes Cojango got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Diegotxe. After 36 played minutes Cojango got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Horado. Cirilo Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Osasun having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Churqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Panpili to maneuver through the defense. Cojango's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo Cresitobalo in the 52nd minute. After taking down the ball on Cojango's corner Godofredo Cresitobalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Osasun quite easily take care of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Rosario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Osasun having to interfere. Guido Domenec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Churqui booed when Cojango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes, Churqui's Felix Arnau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adan Izotz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Churqui reached it. Adan Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Rosario in the 71st minute of the match. Godofredo Cresitobalo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Anselmo Roano let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 80th minute shot 0-1 at rihgt post. Anselmo Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adan Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cojango getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Godfredo Diegotxe hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Churqui's Felix Arnau tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Churqui's zone, Godfredo Diegotxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Osasun came out of the goal and Godfredo Diegotxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Churqui walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
