Álzaga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Uriel Darien scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Abalos, making the score, 1-0. Martin Baldovino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Uriel Darien, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ruperto Abalos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Álzaga's goalkeeper Ruperto Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Uriel Darien. Álzaga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Uriel Darien scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Abalos, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Baldovino in the 46th minute of play forced Mendiolaza FC's goalkeeper Tomas Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Baldovino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernabe Ixaka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Ixaka in the 52nd minute of the match. With his leg Tomas Madaleno managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Álzaga's Martin Baldovino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the game, Uriel Darien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ruperto Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruperto Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, Mendiolaza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Justin to maneuver through the defense. Álzaga's Celedonio Acosta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mendiolaza FC. Tomas Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Ixaka in the 78th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Eusebio Birjaio put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ruperto Abalos.
