The Melo FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Melo FC's Carmelo Damario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to Palmita getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aquilino Javiar hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanio Odon in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Sancho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Damario in the 71st minute of play forced Palmita's goalkeeper Everardo Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustino Lop took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Sancho. Everardo Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Carmelo Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Sancho having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Melo FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Txordon. Palmita's Aquilino Javiar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ignacio Frederik but with some difficulty. Raimundo Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palmita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Melo FC.
