After 14 played minutes, Porongal's Casimiro Nayely shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casimiro Cordario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Porongal reached it. 17 minutes into the game, Jose Jaen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porongal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal FC the free kick. After 17 played minutes Porongal got a freekick which was hit by Jose Jaen. After 19 minutes, Conrado Bizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreal FC and the Porongal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Barreal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Bizi to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Hipolito Eneto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casimiro Cordario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 30th minute Herminio Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desiderio Rodas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hipolito Eneto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Porongal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
