The supporters of Chichinales booed when Shaqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Montae didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Pes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Iliana in the 15th minute. If Celestino Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Segundo Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Sansone. Chichinales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Segundo Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 23 played minutes Shaqui FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Telmo. 26 minutes into the match, Chichinales's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Paio came free, but Omar Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ignacio Otsoko fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chichinales's protests and gave Ignacio Otsoko a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Chichinales got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Otsoko. In the 28th minute of the match Marcos Froylan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Sansone skillfully saved the ball. The Shaqui FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Shaqui FC's Celestino Paio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flavio Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Pes having to interfere. Segundo Reyes scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Sansone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Celestino Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Paio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Sansone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Shaqui FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match Efrain Madaleno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Sansone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Shaqui FC's attack was well implemented in the 55th minute, but when Segundo Reyes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Celestino Paio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Segundo Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Sansone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Shaqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Iliana came free, but Isidro Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaqui FC's Dario Telmo got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Dario Telmo off the ground. In the 68th match minute, Shaqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Telmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Florencio Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Flavio Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Paio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omar Sansone firmly grabbed it by the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Shaqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Milian came free, but Isidro Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Pes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Iliana's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chichinales's zone, Celestino Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Sansone came out of the goal and Celestino Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Omar Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Florencio Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Chichinales supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shaqui FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Shaqui FC.
