Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Virgilio Beat started the match with the kick off. Arsenio Pabla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrain Urtungo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Efrain Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Urtungo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Arsenio Pabla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Peñico AFC's Virgilio Beat in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gamay's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gamay's Fulgencio Gonsalvo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arsenio Pabla. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. With a little luck, Peñico AFC's Arsenio Pabla got control of the ball when Efrain Urtungo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 played minutes Gamay got a freekick which was hit by Astor Luken. If Virgilio Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Beat in the 29th minute of play forced Gamay's goalkeeper Lino Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Peñico AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Gonsalvo came free, but Arsenio Pabla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Peñico AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Ulizes to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Peñico AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Paio. Jesus Ezkerra, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jesus Ezkerra kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, one of Gamay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gamay. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Peñico AFC. Gervasio Dolcet stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lino Mingo. 2-1. In the 45th minute, Fulgencio Gonsalvo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arsenio Pabla. The goal made the score 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
Peñico AFC's Arsenio Pabla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Fe in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Beat in the 54th minute of play forced Gamay's goalkeeper Lino Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Paublo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lino Mingo made a huge save. Javier Paublo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Lino Mingo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Efrain Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gamay's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Urtungo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Pabla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Urtungo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenio Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Gonsalvo in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peñico AFC's Valentin Ulizes got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gamay's goalkeeper Lino Mingo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gamay were furious when Dante Guifre was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gamay! Gervasio Dolcet walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 86th minute Efrain Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Paublo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Peñico AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 93rd match minute, Gamay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Neto to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gamay fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peñico AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
