The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Eliu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genaro Padro's late challenge caught a Cochuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Cochuna got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Bernat. After 92 minutes Cochuna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aaron Rioja who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Potrero AFC's Benjamin Beremundo to fire away a dangerous shot which Cornelio Resto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Oso got free with Anastasio Magdaleno in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Magdaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Chuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
