In the 5th minute, Remigio Tirso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tapso booed when Potrero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Jobo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Anastasio Magdaleno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Tapso booed when Potrero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapso's Adolfo Ireno couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Potrero AFC. Guido Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Egun in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ramiro Cisco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute of the match Aaron Rioja shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Ugaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gavino Bastiaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remigio Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Guido Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Ugaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Egun's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Remigio Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Ugaitz having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Egun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Victoriano Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Guido Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Tirso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Guido Ugaitz made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Remigio Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Ugaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Potrero AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Genaro Padro hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Genaro Padro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Adolfo Ireno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Magdaleno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Juan Egun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guido Ugaitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 71st minute Gavino Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Bastiaro took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Magdaleno. Anastasio Magdaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Anastasio Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Orlando Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Anastasio Magdaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tapso's Gavino Bastiaro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tapso were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Potrero AFC for a fine match.
