The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Nicasio Matthew fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sitón AFC's protests and gave Nicasio Matthew a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Silverio Eneas made a precise shot to the right of Americo Remicio. Urdampilleta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Urdampilleta FC booed when Sitón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sitón AFC's Freddy Etxahun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Quintin in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Urdampilleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Bizi came free, but Americo Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Lázaro Maraman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Etxahun was a little too slow when Cornelio Quintin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Urdampilleta FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Modesto Hustaz hit a great ball. Lázaro Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Freddy Etxahun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cornelio Quintin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Freddy Etxahun. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Urdampilleta FC's Americo Remicio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Eneas in the 37th minute of play. Hernan Bizi might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Remicio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Bizi ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Quinten during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erasmo Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Cornelio Quintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Baldomero Baristo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Hernan Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Remicio having to interfere. Silverio Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Remicio having to interfere. Freddy Etxahun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 95 minutes into the match, Urdampilleta FC's Lázaro Maraman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Etxahun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornelio Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Etxahun having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sitón AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Urdampilleta FC.
