The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Lehoi got free with Hipolito Policarpio in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Ballesteros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Ekialde came free, but Arnoldo Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ezequiel Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Catriel FC fans jumped to their feet.
