After 13 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Simon Guter. 16 minutes into the game, Tomás Nuno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aurelio Marz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Baldomiro Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Hinojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Edur came free, but Victoriano Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Saul Eutor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hinojo FC's Victoriano Laurentzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Hinojo FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anier Bero hit a great ball. Hinojo FC's Victoriano Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Eutor in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hinojo FC's Higinio Froila got a free kick in the 37th minute. Candelaria's Jose Garaona managed to work through Hinojo FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jose Garaona dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Hinojo FC's Federico Elorri in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria's goalie prevented a goal. With 45 minutes on the clock, Javier Gamus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 44 minutes into the game, one of Candelaria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Hinojo FC. Alfonso Quico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Marz. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Garaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Federico Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hinojo FC's Anier Bero got a free kick in the 57th minute. Victoriano Laurentzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Garaona in the 60th minute. In the 62nd match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Bertol to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Federico Elorri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Marz was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Jose Garaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Victoriano Laurentzi made a huge save. Victoriano Laurentzi made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Jose Garaona sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Elorri came free, but Aurelio Marz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes, Baldomiro Edur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria and the Hinojo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Baldomiro Edur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Hinojo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jose Garaona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Federico Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hinojo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Elorri couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Edur got free with Victoriano Laurentzi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hinojo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Candelaria for a fine match.
