Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Albino Hegoi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Baldomiro Edur got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ballesteros FC's Arnoldo Frutos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ballesteros FC from getting a goal against them. Simon Guter kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Eutor in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Frutos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 14 minutes, Jose Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Garaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cayetano Larra hit a great ball. When Simon Guter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. 22 minutes into the game, Albino Hegoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballesteros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candelaria the free kick. In the 25th minute, Jose Garaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 34th minute Antonio Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Albino Hegoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria's Aurelio Marz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Garaona got free with Arnoldo Frutos in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Garaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Candelaria's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antonio Lehoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Antonio Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aurelio Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Antonio Lehoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Marz came out of the goal and Antonio Lehoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Leheren in the 69th minute of play forced Ballesteros FC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Frutos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jose Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Ruy hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Lehoi got free with Aurelio Marz in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 played minutes Ballesteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Blas Berbiz. Aurelio Marz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Hegoi in the 79th minute of play. Jose Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Arnoldo Frutos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Jose Garaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 98 minutes, Albino Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballesteros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ballesteros FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
