Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Ekialde took the kick off in the first half of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Federico Elorri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 10th minute Federico Elorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Policarpio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Catriel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Elorri came free, but Hipolito Policarpio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hinojo FC's Federico Elorri in 17 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hipolito Policarpio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Julian Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hinojo FC's zone, Julian Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Laurentzi came out of the goal and Julian Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, one of Hinojo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hinojo FC. Amadeo Tabor walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Hipolito Policarpio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hipolito Policarpio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Bonadona hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Catriel FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Santo Garaona hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Anier Bero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Policarpio having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Federico Elorri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hipolito Policarpio, 1-2. With a little luck, Catriel FC's Hipolito Policarpio got control of the ball when Tomás Nuno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Catriel FC's zone, Federico Elorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Policarpio came out of the goal and Federico Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Catriel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Tonete to maneuver through the defense. If Tomás Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catriel FC's Hipolito Policarpio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Catriel FC from getting a goal against them. Manuel Loramendi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Federico Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hinojo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Elorri couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Nuno got free with Hipolito Policarpio in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Laurentzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Julian Ekialde came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Catriel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Ekialde couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Hinojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Ekialde came free, but Victoriano Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Froila charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Froila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Higinio Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Laurentzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Julian Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Ekialde in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Laurentzi saved Hinojo FC from getting behind. Federico Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Policarpio having to interfere. Hinojo FC's Victoriano Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Ekialde in the 94th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Catriel FC got a corner. Hinojo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amadeo Tabor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florentino Romano made a great header on Catriel FC's corner, it was just that Hinojo FC's Victoriano Laurentzi managed to reach the ball for a save.
