The supporters of Gap booed when Payogastilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Jerico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvio Eriz came out and tried to block the shot, but Gogo Jerico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Payogastilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Enol came free, but Carolo Lamberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Jerico in the 26th minute of play forced Gap's goalkeeper Silvio Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Gap's goalkeeper Silvio Eriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Vermudo. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Silvio Eriz. 47 minutes into the match, Payogastilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Enol came free, but Carolo Lamberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gogo Jerico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Payogastilla FC's Fermin Vermudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvio Eriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bruno Enol came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Enol couldn't finish the play. Bruno Enol struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Carolo Lamberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gap. In the 90th minute, Payogastilla FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bruno Enol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gogo Jerico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Payogastilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Jerico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Eriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Jerico in the 95th minute of play forced Gap's goalkeeper Silvio Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Payogastilla FC had won after a very even match.
