Ovidio Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Enrique Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Fulgencio Eudoxio made a huge save. Ovidio Iturri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Enrique Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Mulcahy got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Goito. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Oscar Mino put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Enrique Ospin. Ovidio Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Ospin having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Mulcahy's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Iturri came free, but Enrique Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Ilazki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fulgencio Eudoxio firmly grabbed it by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eudoxio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Ilazki. Santiago Paskal's late challenge caught a Mulcahy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Paskal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Quebrachitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Paskal to maneuver through the defense. Quebrachitos's Fulgencio Eudoxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Quebrachitos from getting a goal against them. After 46 played minutes Quebrachitos got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Cordera. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidio Iturri made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Ovidio Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Eudoxio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Mulcahy booed when Quebrachitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Mino got free with Enrique Ospin in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mulcahy's Enrique Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Paskal in the 90th minute of play. Oscar Mino scored 1-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Ospin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quebrachitos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
