The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romulo Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Orlin in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Everardo Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Urtsua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Bernal in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Guatimozín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Bernal came free, but Vinicio Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Urtsua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomás Bernal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. With his leg Vinicio Urtsua managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Coig's Justo Telo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Justo Telo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Coig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Telo couldn't finish the play. Tomás Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Urtsua having to interfere. Justo Telos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Vinicio Urtsua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vinicio Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Guatimozín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Bernal came free, but Vinicio Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Romulo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Romulo Gau fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatimozín FC's protests and gave Romulo Gau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Guatimozín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Gau to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes, Coig's Vladimiro Chorche shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Urtsua came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coig reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Santikurtz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartolo Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. If Tomás Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 60 played minutes Coig got a freekick which was hit by Raul Pinto. Tomás Bernal's late challenge caught a Guatimozín FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Bernal helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Bernal hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Raul Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Urtsua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Urtsua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Bernal in the 71st minute of the match. Paulino Pes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Romulo Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Guatimozín FC booed when Coig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Conrado Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Urtsua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Paulino Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Chorche hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Paulino Pes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romulo Paz. Paulino Pes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guatimozín FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
