Quilinquil's Benicio Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Quintin in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Quilinquil's Orlando Hegoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Lop narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Orlando Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilinquil's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Hegoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Lop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Eréscano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Miliano came free, but Eugenio Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Miliano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Lop was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Teobaldo Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eugenio Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonathan Vimaro fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilinquil's protests and gave Jonathan Vimaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 minutes, Prudencio Oalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eréscano FC and the Quilinquil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eréscano FC's Prudencio Oalo got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Orlando Hegoi came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Quilinquil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Hegoi couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benicio Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Marcones took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Lop. Eréscano FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benicio Cordareo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Etxeberri in the 43rd minute. Felipe Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Oalo was the one to do the kick off. Quilinquil's Orlando Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Felipe Etxeberri came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Eréscano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Prudencio Oalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilinquil's Benicio Cordareo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Prudencio Oalo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benicio Cordareo. 72 minutes into the match, Quilinquil's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Oalo came free, but Benicio Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Miliano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Lop when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Prudencio Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Oalo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Cordareo saved Quilinquil from getting behind. Benicio Cordareo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Oalo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Prudencio Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Cordareo having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Quilinquil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Prejun to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Miliano got free with Eugenio Lop in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eréscano FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
