After 71 played minutes Suruipiana got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Edur. Albino Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Romero in the 88th minute of play. Tomás Michael came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albino Cordario could save by the left post. Benigno Cortez hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Gorgonta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Handi to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gorgonta could leave the field as winners, despite Suruipiana having more of the ball for most of the match.
