Venancio Musko ran over to the corner to take the kick. 7 minutes into the match, Horcones's Sebastian Salvidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albino Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Christian Vimaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horcones's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Vimaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Horcones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Vimaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sebastian Salvidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gorgonta's Mario Valery got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Vimaro in the 41st minute of play forced Gorgonta's goalkeeper Albino Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
