After 36 minutes of play Gorgonta's Mario Valery was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Gorgonta getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Mario Valery hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Vachon in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Cordario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Onbera in the 48th minute of play forced Gorgonta's goalkeeper Albino Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Lalla to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Joaquin Neto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorgonta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tambillo the free kick. After 59 played minutes Gorgonta got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Neto. In the 80th match minute, Tambillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Totakoxe to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Emilio Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorgonta's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Jaizki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Denis Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Lalla came free, but Fabricio Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
