The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Balendin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Salvidor in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Horcones booed when Suruipiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Balendin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Vimaro in the 10th minute. Sebastian Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Horcones getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rodrigo Maurin hit a great ball. Suruipiana's Feliberto Saturnin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Mancio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Romero in the 19th minute of play forced Horcones's goalkeeper Emilio Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Salvidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Balendin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Emilio Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Alvaro Perico charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Perico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Horcones got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Perico. Tomás Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Emilio Mancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alvaro Perico was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 30 minutes had been played. In the 31st minute, Alvaro Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Horcones booed when Suruipiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Christian Vimaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Balendin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Romero in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Mancio saved Horcones from getting behind. Rodrigo Maurin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sebastian Salvidor made the kick off in the second half. Emilio Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Edur in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute Inocencio Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Mancio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Inocencio Romero in the 58th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Emilio Mancio kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 63rd match minute, Horcones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Vimaro to maneuver through the defense. If Inocencio Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Inocencio Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Horcones got a freekick which was hit by Christian Vimaro. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Tomás Michael got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Inocencio Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Mancio was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Salvidor in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Balendin saved Suruipiana from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sebastian Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horcones's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Salvidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Julio Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Horcones getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Roman Osoitz hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
