In the 2nd minute, Virgilio Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Cuarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Cloyo in the 11th minute of play forced Papagayos's goalkeeper Emanuel Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivan Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Ivan Cloyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nogolí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 21 played minutes Nogolí got a freekick which was hit by Diego Gabirel. Emanuel Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adriana Maties fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papagayos's protests and gave Adriana Maties a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Adriana Maties hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Alberto Aresti in the 30th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Emanuel Cuarto's left hand side. When Papagayos's Tomás Larra in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nogolí's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute, Papagayos's Esteve Bermudez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Tomás Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Baldomero Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Cloyo made a kick off. Emanuel Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Cloyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Esteve Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Cuarto having to interfere. Papagayos's Emanuel Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Aresti in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Papagayos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Llorian to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Emanuel Cuarto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nogolí. Tomás Larra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Cuarto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Cloyo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Leonel Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nogolí's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Cuarto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteve Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Maxin having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Tomás Larra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nogolí's Baldomero Maxin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Papagayos's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Cloyo came free, but Emanuel Cuarto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Esteve Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nogolí's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
