Herminio Benitez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Urbez having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Bernabe Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Urbez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Benitez in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Urbez saved Pucará from getting behind. Herminio Benitez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Resistencia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jonas Oier charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Oier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Resistencia getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jonas Oier hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Gabriel Lixandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pucará the free kick. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Pucará. Teo Gorka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isidro Berdaitz. 0-1. If Ricardo Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Fix to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Resistencia's goalkeeper Isidro Berdaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Ioritz. Isidro Berdaitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Ioritz went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Ricardo Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Berdaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Ioritz got free with Isidro Berdaitz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bernabe Toribio came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Toribio couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pucará had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
