After recieving a nice pass, Encina's Hernan Petri tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Encina's goalkeeper Ovidio Prejun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Markel. Victorio Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Ovidio Prejun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gualterio Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Prejun having to interfere. Gogo Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Prejun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Markel in the 48th minute. The Curhuani players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Encina were winning 0-1.
Nemesio Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Montay in the 52nd minute of play. If Gogo Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Curhuani's Donato Iturri got a free kick in the 66th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Encina's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Markel came free, but Ovidio Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Encina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
