The Tolosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raimundo Naelio charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Naelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Naelio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Nestor Joachim put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Pello. In the 24th minute, Cecilio Rivas fired a really elegant long shot, but Tiburcio Columbo threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Iigo in the 29th minute of play forced Rivadeo FC's goalkeeper Manuel Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Tolosa's Tiburcio Columbo got control of the ball when Mauricio Ganix tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Joachim in the 39th minute of play forced Rivadeo FC's goalkeeper Manuel Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Naelio was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Raimundo Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Manuel Iigo scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Pello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rivadeo FC! The Rivadeo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tolosa were winning 0-4.

Rivadeo FC's Manuel Pello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Rivadeo FC from getting a goal against them. Manuel Iigos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Manuel Pello to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Nestor Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Pello was a little too slow when Nestor Joachim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Nestor Joachim struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Manuel Pello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolosa. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Manuel Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Iigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Pello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tolosa's Nestor Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauricio Ganix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Manuel Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Ignacio Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tolosa and the Rivadeo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rivadeo FC booed when Tolosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball.
