With a little luck, Yahapé AFC's Domingo Sanson got control of the ball when Aquiles Iliana tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Maidana in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Sanson saved Yahapé AFC from getting behind. Honorio Maidana might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Sanson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Maidana ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquiles Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Sanson having to interfere. Elias Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Fuentes defense, Cecilio Soter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Nerio. The Fuentes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Nerio should have stopped the shot. Elias Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Mergildo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anibal Mergildo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Teofilo Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Nerio having to interfere. The supporters of Yahapé AFC booed when Fuentes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuentes's Elias Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Jokin in the 45th minute of play. Alejo Emenon kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Jokin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cecilio Soter came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Yahapé AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Soter couldn't finish the play. After having played for 54 minutes, Teofilo Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yahapé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Jokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Fuentes got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Gai. If Cecilio Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Eufrasio during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliciano Eufrasio kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Anibal Mergildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Nerio. Fuentes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Mergildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 81 minutes into the game, Victorio Lizar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yahapé AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fuentes the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Yahapé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Lizar to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes, Fuentes's Tadeo Handi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingo Sanson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fuentes reached it. Anibal Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Honorio Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yahapé AFC's Domingo Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Iliana in the 97th minute of play. The Fuentes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yahapé AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Yahapé AFC.
