Alberto Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Sabino in the 6th minute of the match. Claudio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Damario in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Sabino in the 14th minute of play forced Cangrejilla AFC's goalkeeper Alberto Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Iztal during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sepultura FC booed when Cangrejilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes, Sepultura FC's Marcelino Frans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Harkaitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sepultura FC reached it. Edgardo Bernaldo came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alberto Harkaitz could save by the left post. Alberto Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edgardo Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raul Sabino came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sepultura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Sabino couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Sepultura FC's Raul Sabino fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alberto Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Sabino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Leonel Blanco made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Arias. Sepultura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sepultura FC's Claudio Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Sepultura FC from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Harkaitz having to interfere. Alberto Harkaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Alberto Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Sabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Froilan Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Damario in the 85th minute of the match. Froilan Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cangrejilla AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
