Alberto Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Normando in the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Leonel Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cangrejilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Blanco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Cangrejilla AFC's Froilan Damario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Dolcet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15thth minute of the game Froilan Damario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miraflores's Honorato Dolcet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Honorato Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Lixandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Cangrejilla AFC's goalkeeper Alberto Harkaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Lixandro. Godfredo Ofelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Harkaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Ofelio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Ofelio to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Serafino Lixandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, Cangrejilla AFC's Danilo Muc got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Serafino Lixandro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alberto Harkaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Godfredo Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Harkaitz having to interfere. Leonel Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Dolcet having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Miraflores's Jacobo Normando got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, Leonel Blanco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cangrejilla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Froilan Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Dolcet having to interfere.
