Fighiera's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Silban got free with Anibal Danel in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Pancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Brais having to interfere. Fighiera's Ildefonso Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Pancho in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Norberto Silban could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Anibal Danel however easily saved by the left post. Rincón AFC's Anibal Danel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Rincón AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Norberto Silban got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
