Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Garayalde AFC's Enzo Evangelista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Garayalde AFC booed when Ñacanguazú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermengildo Rubio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Arixo. After some careless play in the Ñacanguazú defense, Rodolfo Urdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Rubio. The Ñacanguazú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Rubio should have stopped the shot. Marcial Ortzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Rudolfo in the 27th minute of play. Edgard Celio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marcial Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ñacanguazú's Roque Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute Enzo Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Rudolfo made a kick off. Rolando Cordairo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Cordairo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ñacanguazú getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rolando Cordairo hit a great ball. Hermengildo Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Urdin in the 60th minute of the match. The Garayalde AFC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Garayalde AFC's Enzo Evangelista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hermengildo Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Hermengildo Rubio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Evangelista's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Edgard Celio could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Marcial Ortzi however easily saved by the left post. If Rodolfo Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edgard Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ñacanguazú's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Celio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Ortzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ñacanguazú's Roque Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Ortzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Celio in the 90th minute. In the 96th minute Rodolfo Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Rubio came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Garayalde AFC's Sixto Jordy. But to his dismay, Sixto Jordy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ñacanguazú players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Garayalde AFC.
