Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Dalmu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Esperanza AFC's zone, Bartolo Gai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Henrico came out of the goal and Bartolo Gai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Froilan Tano came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Potrerillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Tano couldn't finish the play. Delmar Henrico acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristian Rosio. Froilan Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Nicanor Gombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 minutes, Ricardo Nahia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza AFC and the Potrerillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the match, Potrerillos's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Gombal came free, but Higinio Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Froilan Tano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Jairo Atarratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potrerillos and the Esperanza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Potrerillos's Jairo Atarratze got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Licerio in the 27th minute of play forced Potrerillos's goalkeeper Higinio Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Anacleto Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felix Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Quiroga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Dalmu in the 38th minute of play. Higinio Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Dalmu in the 41st minute of the match. When Filomeno Atarratze fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillos's protests and gave Filomeno Atarratze a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Potrerillos's Filomeno Atarratze got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Potrerillos's Higinio Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Dalmu in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Potrerillos's goalkeeper Higinio Quiroga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Gombal. Anacleto Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Henrico having to interfere. The supporters of Potrerillos booed when Esperanza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Froilan Tano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Tano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Anacleto Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Felix Dalmu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Higinio Quiroga. The goal made the score 0-1. Anacleto Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Dalmu in the 79th minute of the match. Delmar Henrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Tano in the 81st minute of the match. If Anacleto Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anacleto Benvide struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Delmar Henrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrerillos. Anacleto Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Felix Dalmu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Potrerillos were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
