Silvestre Arnau came out of the goal and Mauricio Hitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Garaona in the 14th minute of the match. Silvestre Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Manuel Savier's late challenge caught a Torres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Dario Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauricio Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Arnau having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Mauricio Hitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torres FC's Silvestre Arnau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Torres FC's Narciso Frisco got a free kick in the 34th minute. Silvestre Arnau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Hitz in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Arnau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Cresconio to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Torres FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play.
