After a defensive mix-up in Ifrán's zone, Vinicio Idacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Jacindo came out of the goal and Vinicio Idacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Odon struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Adolfo Jacindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mackenna. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Roman Lizbeth successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Amancio Egoitz fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mackenna's protests and gave Amancio Egoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Sergio Cordera was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roman Lizbeth made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Geronimo Matro sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Mackenna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mackenna booed when Ifrán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sergio Cordera fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ifrán's protests and gave Sergio Cordera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Ifrán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Cordera to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Vinicio Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinicio Idacio in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Jacindo saved Ifrán from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Idacio made a kick off. Vinicio Idacio took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Jacindo. Adolfo Jacindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 55 played minutes Ifrán got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Harri. When Mackenna's Vinicio Idacio in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ifrán's goalie prevented a goal. Mackenna's Roman Lizbeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Matro in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Lino Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Sergio Cordera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ifrán's Basilio Madaleno got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Ciriaco Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Jacindo skillfully saved the ball. If Vinicio Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ifrán's goalkeeper Adolfo Jacindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vinicio Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Adolfo Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Mackenna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ifrán.
