Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernan Urre started the match with the kick off. Hernan Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner led Cerrillos AFC's Godfredo Horado to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustin Lopez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ovidio Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Lopez having to interfere. If Aquilino Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tupungato getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mariano Etxatxu hit a great ball. Ovidio Mendiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Agustin Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Ganix might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Lohitzun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Ganix ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Cerrillos AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victor Ganix fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Agustin Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Ubarna went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Ovidio Mendiko came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cerrillos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Mendiko couldn't finish the play.

Cerrillos AFC's Aquilino Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Tupungato's Agustin Lopez got control of the ball when Aquilino Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Ganix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Lohitzun having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Tupungato's Victor Ganix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Lohitzun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aquilino Ubarna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Victor Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cerrillos AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cerrillos AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
