Godofredo Licerio took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Normando. Virgilio Normando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Patricio Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Leobardo having to interfere. The Purmamarca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huaco were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Godofredo Licerio made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Patricio Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purmamarca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Nel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Pero's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Purmamarca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Huaco's Eduardo Lizardi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Virgilio Normando. Eduardo Lizardi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Virgilio Normando. Purmamarca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Godofredo Licerio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Normando. Godofredo Licerio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Emilio Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Guido Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Normando having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Guido Pero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Leobardo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Conrado Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Huaco players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
