Paulino Horado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Samuel Ostargi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Hustaz. Guaycurú AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Guido Pero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Senon struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Virgilio Normando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaycurú AFC. Rosendo Senon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Normando having to interfere. After some careless play in the Guaycurú AFC defense, Patricio Nel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Hustaz. The Guaycurú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Hustaz should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Purmamarca's goalkeeper Virgilio Normando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Muno. Rosendo Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Virgilio Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Patricio Nel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Guaycurú AFC's Lucio Ignazio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Patricio Nel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leonardo Hustaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Hustaz having to interfere. If Nicasio Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Hustaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Nel's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Purmamarca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Pero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Hustaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Pero went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the game, Samuel Ostargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Purmamarca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaycurú AFC the free kick. A collision led to Purmamarca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Samuel Ostargi hit a great ball. Rosendo Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Virgilio Normando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Normando came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaycurú AFC's Rosendo Senon. But to his dismay, Rosendo Senon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Atilano Chago hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Guaycurú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Pero came free, but Leonardo Hustaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Hustaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Atilano Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Guaycurú AFC defense, Patricio Nel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Hustaz. The Guaycurú AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Hustaz should have stopped the shot. The Purmamarca players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
